Lectures will be given on recording techniques, underlying physiology and clinical applications of full-field, pattern and multi-focal electroretinography and on visual evoked potentials. Special emphasis will be given to clinical application with widespread use of clinical cases to illustrate relevant points. Demonstrations will also be given and course registrants will be able to practice techniques using commercially-available equipment.

The course will cost £180, reduced to £160 for those registering prior to June 6th 2005. This cost includes all teaching and demonstrations, lunch and dinner on Monday 22nd August, teas and coffees on both days and attendance at the Keynote Lecture of the concurrent BriSCEV Symposium. A discount of around 10% is offered to those registering for both the course and for the main Symposium.

The inclusive dinner on the Monday evening will be held at the distinctive Arthouse Hotel in the centre of Glasgow. Built in 1911 and restored in 1999 (the year Glasgow was the UK City of Architecture and Design) its contemporary interior and fine restaurant will provide a great setting for the evening's entertainment.

Details of travel and accommodation are available on the main Symposium website.
